ColourMy is operated by Dash Ken Pty Ltd, trading as DKN Group(ABN 16 683 933 922), an Australian company. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Dash Ken Pty Ltd.

2. What Information We Collect
2.1 Anonymous Authentication
By default, ColourMy uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This creates a random, non-identifiable user ID. No personal information — such as name, email address, or phone number — is collected or required to use the app anonymously.
2.2 Sign in with Apple
If you choose to sign in with your Apple account, Apple may share your name and email address with us. Apple may provide a private relay email address rather than your actual email. We use this information solely for account management and transactional communications (such as order confirmations).
2.3 Photos
When you use ColourMy to convert a photo, the image is sent to Google Vertex AI (Gemini) for processing. Under Google’s Vertex AI data governance terms, Google does not store submitted images or use them for model training. Your original photos are never uploaded to our servers. Only the converted colouring page (the AI-generated line drawing) is stored in Firebase Storage, associated with your account.
2.4 Shipping Address
If you order a printed colouring book, we collect your shipping address at the time of order. This information is stored in Cloud Firestore and is used solely for order fulfilment and delivery.
2.5 Purchase Records
When you make an in-app purchase, we store the StoreKit transaction ID for purchase verification and fraud prevention. We do not have access to your payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not:
- Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
- Deploy tracking pixels, cookies, or fingerprinting technologies
- Collect location data
- Sell, rent, or trade your personal information
- Use your photos for AI model training
4. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Provide the ColourMy service (photo conversion, colouring book creation)
- Fulfil printed colouring book orders
- Verify purchases and prevent fraud
- Send transactional communications (e.g. order confirmations and shipping updates)
- Respond to your support requests
5. Data Sharing
Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The following infrastructure providers process data as part of delivering the ColourMy service:
- Google Cloud / Firebase — authentication, data storage, and AI processing (Vertex AI)
- Apple — authentication (Sign in with Apple) and payment processing (App Store / StoreKit)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (order confirmations)
Each provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Anonymous accounts: Anonymous accounts with no activity are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Deleted accounts: Upon account deletion, associated data (colouring pages, order history, and personal information) is permanently removed from our systems.
7. Children’s Privacy
ColourMy is designed for use by children with parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. The app does not require personal information to use — anonymous authentication is the default mode, requiring no name, email, or other identifying information.

8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing

10. Australian Privacy Act Compliance
This policy is compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
